SJA Alumni Reunion Program Team Celebrates 2nd Anniversary of Alumni Website!

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Greetings from Rohan & Nitin!

In the true spirit of Auld Lang Syne, today, it has been two historic years since we launched the first SJA Alumni Website <http://www.stjosephacademy.net/> on Oct. 03, 2009. What an exciting moment it was! From feet to miles, our movement has traveled around the world connecting hearts and souls, high-school sweethearts, best-friends, classmates, and everyone in unprecedented ways. Even though we have had no official affiliation with the School ever since we started in 2004 right after the 70 Year Celebrations "Peter Pan", we are still the strongest force uniting Josephites on this planet. And we pledge, that we will continue to beat strong in your hearts and touch your souls as we have in the past!

From a Discussion Group to a News Blog, we have been tweeting on Twitter, social-networking on Facebook, and not to mention the Alumni Reunions that we were able to organize around the world. Today, we reach 384 Discussion Group Members, 82 Blog Followers, 57 Twitter Followers, and 1295 Facebook Fans. If history be told, some of our best ideas came during our discussions past midnight like the Alumni Connect <http://links.stjosephacademy.net/connect> "One Platform for All Updates".

The SJA Alumni Reunion Program Team would like to celebrate this feat by releasing the videos from the breathtaking Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at St. Joseph's Academy given to us by Bro. A. J. George, Principal. There are total five videos including one cover video. These videos have been made available at http://links.stjosephacademy.net/20111003sjavideos for all and will be hosted online by the Reunion Program Team from this day onward. The idea is to reach all those who were unable to make it to the Gala 75 Year Celebrations and remind all of the glorious past! We are sure you will have a great time reconnecting back!

SJA Alumni UK Meets: Glasgow & London!

Ladies & Gentlemen,

We have excellent news!

After the super-awesome 2.5 hour meet in New Delhi on Aug. 12 at Pind Balluchi (photos and details will be posted on the meet website soon), we are happy to say that our Glasgow Meet Coordinator Sandeep Dewan is currently cruising 40000 feet on way from Singapore to Glasgow as we speak. The meet was cancelled owing to a change in plans but you know, "Anything for SJA, and Anywhere for SJA!".

So, we are totally and absolutely excited to meet anyone in the area. Please register at the earliest on http://meet5.stjosephacademy.net/registration so that we can contact you for the meet updates. Our plan is to have the reunion this weekend, and on an evening early next week if there are others in the area. It may be short notice so please register as we would love to see you.

As for the final venue details of the London Meet next Saturday, we'll be announcing the same shortly. Registration for the same will stay open until 12 noon on Friday, Aug. 26. All registered attendees will receive updates. Thank you.

San Francisco Meet Photos & "SJA ROCKS!!!" Video!

Greetings from San Francisco! 

First of all, kudos and a warm thank you to all the Jubilant Josephites & their family members who attended and made this Wonderful Meet a Success!

Hold your breaths together! Its time for the Alumni News from San Francisco, California, U.S.A. For the impatient, the Photos and the "SJA ROCKS!!!" Video can both be viewed on the Meet Website at http://meet4.stjosephacademy.net/photos.

The 2nd Alumni Reunion Meet in San Francisco was attended by seven Josephites (Priti Lamba, ISC '88; Anita Chatta, ISC '82; Gaurav Jain, ISC '00; Ravi Giroti, ISC '91; Gagan Kanwar, ISC '92; Ishan Agrawal, ISC '08; and Rohan Mittal, ICSE '02) all from different batches and their families in part and full (Jay (Priti's husband); Kohsheen (Anita's daughter); Mehul (Anita's daughter); and Suditi (Mehul's friend)). Out of all, only Priti had the privilege of having taught at St. Joseph's for five memorable years! Still a dream for many including me!

After long delays due to slow traffic on the Bay Bridge, attendees started arriving at 12:42 pm. After assembling, we had a Group Photo and then started the quest to get to the best Indian Food Restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area for a Rocking Meal to celebrate this special get-together!

A leisurely long walk with constant chatting down the memory lane followed. It was like we had known each other for ages. Then, a patient wait was greeted by a warm and inviting Indian Meal at the Indian Curry House. Memories continued to be exchanged, Attendance was recorded, and Messages were written for the Students and Alumni.
